Aesculus hippocastanum is a large deciduous tree with toothed leaves and white-pink pyramid flowers, found naturally mostly in the Balkans. Its bark contains various substances, such as estrogen, coumarin, and vitamin P, which have healing properties.
The fruit of wild chestnut contains tannin, astrocline, fracxin and starch. Helps in circulatory function, resulting in better treatment of varicose veins, hemorrhoids, varicose veins and other problems associated with venous insufficiency and poor blood circulation.
Herbal tinctures are very drastic and should therefore be consumed in accordance with their instructions.
The usual dosage is 1 ml (about 20 drops a day).
They should not be consumed during pregnancy and lactation.
