Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms govern the use of manischemicals.com and purchases from MANI CHEMICALS E.E., Geraniou 13, Athens, Greece, VAT number 801515216, Tax Office A' Athinon. Contact: info@manischemicals.com, +30 210 5232687, +30 210 5223065.
1. Scope and acceptance
Browsing the website does not by itself create a purchase obligation. Before placing an order, the customer is shown the applicable information and is asked to expressly accept the checkout terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Products and safe use
Product descriptions, labels, safety information and technical documents form part of the product information. Customers must follow the stated instructions, restrictions and safety data. Professional users remain responsible for assessing suitability for their intended formulation or process. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
3. Prices, VAT and documents
Prices and the final order total are displayed at checkout, including VAT where applicable; shipping and any permitted payment charge are shown separately before the order is placed.
The customer must explicitly select a receipt or invoice where that choice is offered and provide accurate billing information. VAT and invoice eligibility are calculated using the billing country, declared tax details and VIES validation where applicable. If VIES is temporarily unavailable, checkout may apply VAT and the customer may contact us for review. Reduced island VAT is applied only when the statutory conditions and the professional-invoice workflow are satisfied; shipping follows the tax treatment shown at checkout.
4. Orders and availability
An order is submitted after the required checkout choices, acceptance of the terms and activation of the final order button. An email is sent to the address provided. If a product is unavailable, a price is manifestly incorrect or a technical inconsistency is detected, we will contact the customer promptly to propose correction, replacement or cancellation and refund as appropriate.
5. Payment
Only the payment methods displayed as available at checkout may be selected. Depending on the order and eligibility rules, these may include bank transfer, card/IRIS through the cooperating banking payment service, or cash on delivery. Cash on delivery is not available for a professional invoice and may also be unavailable due to order amount, destination, carrier or other clearly presented checkout rules. Card details are entered in the payment provider's secure environment and are not stored by our store.
More information is available on the Payment Methods page.
6. Delivery
Available carriers, cost and estimated delivery information are shown at checkout. Details are provided in Shipping Methods and Costs. For consumer orders, risk of loss or damage passes when the consumer or a person designated by the consumer physically receives the goods, except where the consumer independently instructs a carrier not offered by us, as provided by law.
7. Withdrawal, returns and defective products
Consumers purchasing at a distance generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to statutory exceptions. The procedure, exceptions, return costs and model withdrawal form are set out in the Return Policy. Separate statutory remedies apply to incorrect, damaged or non-conforming goods.
8. Customer obligations
The customer must provide accurate contact, billing, delivery and tax details, keep account credentials confidential and refrain from misuse, unauthorised access, interference or fraudulent activity. Orders may be held for reasonable verification where fraud, security or data inconsistency is detected.
9. Liability and availability
We are responsible to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, defective products or mandatory consumer protections. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, but will inform affected customers and take reasonable mitigating steps.
10. Personal data and cookies
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. Cookie choices are described in the Cookie Policy.
11. Complaints, law and disputes
For any issue, contact info@manischemicals.com so that it can be reviewed promptly. Greek law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections granted by the law of their habitual residence. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction and access to competent alternative-dispute-resolution or supervisory bodies remain unaffected.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated for legal, operational or technical reasons. The version applicable to an order is the version presented when that order is placed.
