8. Checkout tax rules (update)
- For intra-EU B2B transactions, VAT ID validity may be checked through VIES. If valid and all legal conditions are met, the corresponding VAT treatment is applied.
- If VIES is temporarily unavailable, checkout may continue with VAT, followed by verification/adjustment according to tax law.
- For eligible island regions and only when professional invoice is selected, reduced VAT may apply to products (not shipping), according to the active legal rule.
- Cash on delivery is not available when professional invoice issuance is selected.
9. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of Athens courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
In case of interpretation discrepancy, the Greek version prevails.
