Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by the browser to support website functions, remember choices or, only with the required consent, measure or personalise use. Similar technologies are covered by this policy where applicable.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the service requested by the user, including secure session, cart, checkout, language and cookie-preference operation. They cannot be switched off through the consent tool because the store cannot function correctly without them.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHP_SESSID | manischemicals.com | Maintains the technical browsing and checkout session. | Session |
| manischemicals | manischemicals.com | Maintains encrypted store, cart, login and preference information needed for the requested service. | 480 hours |
3. Optional categories
The preference panel may offer analytics, advertising and performance categories. Optional cookies or scripts in these categories are disabled until the visitor gives the relevant consent. Depending on which services are active at a given time:
- Analytics: helps measure use and improve the store.
- Advertising: supports advertising measurement or personalisation.
- Performance: supports non-essential optimisation and experience measurement.
The detailed list shown inside Customize cookies is the current technical inventory for the visitor's language and device. A category being available in the panel does not mean that every listed service is active on every page.
4. Consent and changing preferences
On the first visit, the banner provides equally accessible options to accept, reject or customise optional cookies. Necessary cookies remain active. Preferences can later be reviewed or withdrawn through the cookie-preferences control displayed by the website. Browser settings may also delete stored cookies, after which the banner may appear again.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent ordinary browsing or checkout, although a feature that genuinely depends on an optional service may remain unavailable.
5. Consent evidence and technical data
Where consent logging is enabled, the store keeps the chosen categories, date and time, a consent reference and limited technical information such as the IP address, for the purpose of demonstrating and managing consent. These records are retained for a limited period proportionate to that purpose and security needs.
6. Third parties and updates
When an optional third-party service is enabled, that provider may process data under its own privacy information after consent. This policy and the preference-panel inventory are reviewed when services or cookie durations change.
