Calendula officinalis, also known as calendula or catiffe, has been used for centuries to cure wounds and skin irritations.
It is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, astringent, antifungal.
Features that make it useful for disinfecting and treating wounds, conjunctivitis, cuts, dryness, bruises, burns, athlete’s foot, acne, yeast infections, bee stings, rashes, irritations and skin infections.
Stimulates the production of collagen at the sites of the wound to help minimize scars and help with stretch marks.
It can be incorporated into baths, creams, ointments and is mild to be used in infants, children, or animals.
