Marine oil


Fish oil is produced from the flesh of fatty fish such as salmon, herring, mackerel, sardines and trout, and is particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids EPA (docosahexaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).

The two EPA and DHA fatty acids are important in human health as they contribute substantially to the prevention of heart disease, cancer and other diseases.

Fish oil has been shown to have significant health benefits for the heart, including the following:

• It positively affects the balance of blood fats.

• Reduces the chance of blood clotting.

• Makes the heart less susceptible to arrhythmias (irregular pulses).

• Reduces the viscosity of the blood and thus facilitates its flow.

They also positively influence the body’s body fat.

Fish oils may occasionally cause nausea when taken for the first time. This symptom subsides in a short period of time and can be reduced if the fish oil is taken with a meal.
